He says he loves me and I believe him. How can I not? I see it in his eyes.. I hear it in his voice.. i feel it in the way he longingly touches me.. how can I not believe him?
He says he'll love me forever.. I've heard that before but I know I've never trusted those words. Yet I see myself jump for joy everytime he says it.. I let my soul fill to the brim with an exhilleration I've never experienced before!
He says he needs me.. and for once all I hear is silence in my head! No voices whispering words of caution.. no anxious thoughts of impending doom foreshadow the pristine love he has for me!
He says he'll never let go.. and all I can do is hold on a little tighter and hope and pray that with every moment that passes, he will feel my heart slip deeper and deeper into this place I call happiness. Happiness.. yes.. that's what it is.. happiness!!!

It would be wise, as you are being swept down the river to examine what you mean by 'love'...so much is hidden in that word...do realize that 'love' in it's highest form includes letting one go...and then discovering something even deeper beyond that.
If you believe with all your heart that you are experiencing the pinnacle of love, this 'love', of clinging and supporting, will be tested.

... cant say much without invasion, but, falling in love with somebody is different than falling in love with the idea of LOVE.
